Campaign for Excellence in Teacher Training update
Yesterday I met with Barry Sheerman MP who is Chair of the Education Select Committee. He was very enthusiastic about our campaign to formalise behaviour training for teachers on all training courses and within CPD. Barry has asked me to put together a panel of 8 people to speak to the committee/panel.
Teachers TV
The new interactive online behaviour project with Teachers TV is ready to be filmed this weekend. We are trying to make it as authentic and practical as possible. the website drafts look great and I will get to play around with a prototype later in the week. Students will be from Kidbrooke School in Greenwich and I am looking forward to a day of rehearsal and improvisation on Saturday. The final product will allow the user to try different strategies, with realistic outcomes and advice from a ‘behaviour expert’. Whoever he may be….
