Select Committee and making real progress
Last week was a very exciting week. I was privileged to have the opportunity to give evidence to the Education Select Committee. Nick Gibb MP who spoke to the committee after the panel had given evidence gave a commitment to improve behaviour training in teacher training. We have been working for years to secure this. It is a really positive outcome.
Behaviour Training in Initial Teacher Training
We are edging closer to a presentation in front of the Education Select Committee. We have been asked to present on behaviour training in teacher training. Pivotal friends will know that we have been committed to creating change in this area for many years. Having worked with Barry Sheerman MP before the elections we are delighted that the new chair of the Education Select Committee is interested in furthering these ideas.
