Do you know about E-Mentoring?

What is E-Mentoring?

E-mentoring allows you to establish an ongoing dialogue with one of our training team. You send emails to the trainer outlining challenges or issues you are facing in the classroom and the trainer responds with specific ideas and strategies that you can try. You are able to establish a trusting, working relationship with an expert trainer and get support when you need it.

E-mentoring enables ongoing support that is totally flexible and entirely bespoke and allows you to get as much support as they need in a private environment.

Our trainers are experienced teacher and managers of behaviour.  We will match you to a trainer whose experience reflects your needs and your setting most appropriately.

How does it work?

You contact the Pivotal office and we will put you in touch with an appropriate trainer.  The trainer will then contact you and you can establish a dialogue by email or telephone, whichever you prefer.  You pay for e-mentoring by the hour. The trainer will log the amount of time they spend talking to you or emailing you and we will let you know how much time you are using.  You contact the trainer when you need to and they will respond.

Can I arrange this support for a group of staff?

Yes of course. We often support groups of staff through ementoring.  You may wish to give your NQTs or newly appointed staff some extra support, or maybe give ementoring to some staff who are struggling and need additional help.  We also support departments who are trying to become outstanding through ementoring.

How do I get started?

E-mentoring costs £40 + vat per hour for email support and £50 + vat per hour for telephone support.  You can purchase through the online shop or email us to raise an invoice for a school or college.

If you have questions about this or any of our other products or services, please do get in touch.
